Rowetta

Rowetta is an icon of Manchester, with her vocals featuring on legendary tracks such as ‘Boom Boom Pow’ by the Black Eyed Peas, the renowned 1989 track ‘Reach Out’, ‘Be’ and ‘Show Me Love’ by Steve Angello and Laidback Luke, across the Happy Mondays catalogue, and as a regular guest with Gorillaz. Rowetta’s credits are incredible, including playing herself in the Michael Winterbottom film ’24 Hour Party People’

Rowetta also sings with Peter Hook (Joy Division / New Order) and his new band The Light and was the lead singer on the EP 1102 / 2011, has toured with the Hacienda party, Shed Seven, Happy Mondays… the list goes on, always bringing her powerful vocals and demanding stage presence.
